I'm so sorry for putting your picture on the class blog and pretending to like you. I hope our relationship does not break apart because of this, as my intention of this "ferlin fc" like the "cherie fc" was to bond the class together more, which is the whole idea of a class blog isn't it?

When I made the Cherie FC, I did not see Cherie making a huge fuss about it. I assumed you would be as magnanimous as her, I guess I do not know you well enough.

Hey pple. After a long period of stagnantation of the class blog, I have decided to post.

Alrite.. Im sure everyone is eager for news abt the class chalet.. Regarding the class chalet, I would like to take the chance in this post to clarify some misunderstandings about it.
Firstly, the fixed date for the class chalet is on 12th to 14th of December
Secondly, the class chalet will be in downtown east, Costa Sands due to the inability of bookings for other chalets such as aranda and aloha loyang.. they are fully booked. sorry
Lastly, the reason why we have not started booking yet is because we havent taken down any names of people who want to go to the class chalet.

Hey pple! hows ur end-of-exams-schedule getting on? hmm.. frm wad I heard, a majority of pple frm our class is having a tight schedule whereas a minority is going 2 suffer the torment of enduring boring holidays at home and an EVEN minor minority is going 2 suffer the torture of being forced 2 study in schl in the dreaded pump programme for extremely gifted students.. (btw I'm classified sumwhere in between the majority and minority) Well, as mentioned in the previous post by me (the one below all Jake's youtube vids), everyone's really busy during the hols.. so... as a result, it is decided that the hosting of the class chalet is therefore cancelled.
However, given the feedback of quite a number of 3 Empathians, the class committee has decided to reconsider the idea of NOT hosting the class chalet =D.
As such, we have decided to get comments frm everyone b4 carving the final verdict in2 the plaque..
And btw, the class chalet is changed to 31st Oct (Wed) to 2nd Nov (Fri)

HI! how r ur studies getting on? Hope everyone will pass their exams wif flying colours =D hahaz..
kk this is Ju§tin bringing u the much awaited, latest update on the class chalet..
After much debate and discussion, we have come to a conclusion to hold the class chalet on e-learning week which is the week after our school closes [dates 30th(tues) to 1st (thurs)]. this way, we do not get in2 schedule-conflicts wif pupils going 2 taiwan on the 12th of November and not be troubled with lack of attendance for the school's extension week on 5th to 9th november at the same time! Isn't it great? killing two birds wif 1 stone =D
Details of the chalet: due to lack of class volunteers, I have KINDLY shouldered the responsibility of booking the class chalet. hmm.. I will host an open discussion wif the class on monday recess time so as to get votes on the location of the class chalet. I urge everyone to give their fullest cooperation to make this event a success.

TITRATION!!!

1) wad we nid

A stand, a clamp, a burette, a 250mL flask, a funnel, and a pipette.....

2)WAD WE DO?!

Using the funnel at the top, fill the burette with the X solution.
Be sure the stopcock of the burette is closed!
Using the pipette, add 20cm3 of solution Y into a conical flask. Add 2 drops of indicator into solution Y. During the process of adding soultion X into the conical flask, be sure to swirl the flask constantly so the solutions mix thoroughly. Continue to add solution X to the flask until a color change begins or when it takes longer for solution X to dissolve in solution Y.

3) plz do the experiment twice.....

Apparatus and materials:
Pendulum (e.g. Plasticine bob on string/thread)
Stopclock
Chemical balance (0-100 g)
Stand, clamp and boss
If large masses are used then the stands may need to be clamped to the bench.

Procedure:
a )Show a demonstration pendulum and ask students to think about the variables that may affect the time period for one oscillation.

b) Ask students to select one independent variable, collecting a set of data to investigate its effect on the oscillation time.

c )After students have completed an initial investigation and drawn conclusions, ask them to evaluate their method in terms of its accuracy and improve on it.

Teaching notes
1) You may need to explain what one oscillation for a pendulum. Variables to investigate include the mass of the pendulum bob, length of the pendulum (best measured to centre of bob), and initial amplitude (angle or displacement).

2 )A discussion following students’ first attempts might lead to the following ideas for improving their measured value. Reducing its uncertainty by: • measuring many oscillations to calculate the average time for one oscillation • increasing the total time measured for multiple swings There is some uncertainty in measuring the start time and uncertainty in the time of starting the clock, resulting from the experimenter’s reflex time (as much as 0.2 s each, i.e. totalling 0.4 s). The percentage uncertainty which this 0.4 s represents decreases as the total time measured increases. Students could carry out simple error calculations to discover, for example, the effect of a human reaction time of 0.2 seconds on timings of 2 s, 20 s and 200 s. Alrite.. now the dust has settled and the results of this year's Sec 3 netball interclass has come to light..

After one month of effort put in by our class's netball team, coupled with the intense overwhelming support coming from beneath the hearts of all 3 Empathians, we have, in a way won the interclass netball tournament.

Also, from the translated chinese phrase "hard times spawns heroes", this year's netball interclass was no different. The year saw the unwavering faith Jason and YaoWen put in the team while the girls did great too. I would also like to take this chance to stress upon Jason's tremendous change or metamorphorsis from being someone devoid of faith on our class to a selfless and invaluable player all for the team.

WOOTS! 2day two representitives from our class went to see the jacket dealer.. we clinched the first part of the deal, which involves paying the deposit on our part and the start of the first stage of the making of the class jackets. I am also proud to announce that our class has finally exhibited its bondedness as shown in the intense support for our class jacket, which boosted a total of 40 buyers! based on SUM reasons, the two have decided nt to buy.. I sympathise wif them becos in future, in class gatherings and get-togethers of the class, the two will be so left out as every1 will be wearing class jackets... hmm.. but on the other hand I will respect the choice of the two partially-3 empathians... wahahaa

After reviewing my commentary, receiving viewer feedback and to bond the class more, I have decided to lesser my noob talk of 3EP during netball matches. The next match shall be on Thursday, so watch for it! xDxDxD

Alrite.. lets talk abt the class jacket.. initially, the cost of the jacket was $79.90 whereas the customizing costs $20, making the price an eye-popping $99.90. However, after bargaining wif the dealer, which meant putting much emphasis on the large number of people in our class as well as the amount of business he could make, we managed to lower the price of the jacket to $45 while the customizing costs $10, amounting to a more manageable $55.
However, the day before I paid a visit to the dealer and managed to drop the price by another notch. So the final price is $50 if we could get 40 or more people that are willing to buy the class jackets. Although many people would think that its a minor change not worth mentioning, seen in a wider picture as a class, it helps the class save $200. Now, thats somthing worth bagaining for eh?
Alrite. Everyone knows that there was earlier a debate on class tee against class jacketgoing on. Now, I will take the chance to explain why a class jacket is more greasible than a class tee.
Firstly, being the first class to sport a class jacket, we will become the trend setter of the whole school. Although people may come out with imitated ideas, we will always be he first to think of this idea and make it possible due to our unitedness as a class.
Next, although the cost of a class tee is cheap, lets say $14, classes always find the need to change a clas tee every year. Where does the old class tee go? It ends up at the back of your closet because it simply loses its significance when worn out as an individual. Whereas our class jacket is designed in such a way that the design makes it possible for it to be worn anywhere and anytime. Moreover, as the base colour of the jacket is black, it is able to go well on top of almost any type of clothing as casual wear.
Also, due to its synthetic material of polythene and cotton, (similar to that used in Nike and addidas sports jackets) it is extremely comfortable to wear and enables fast heat release. Besides this, the good worksmanship on the jacket by HongKong tailors, (which are significanyly superior than singapore tailors) makes it durable and can be worn for up to 4 years at least.
Thus, with this, I comnclude that the class jacket is many times better than a class tee. Any objections?

Lastly, we have a problem. The supplier is leaving for HongKong to meet up with his boss NEXT FRIDAY and he will be submitting our order to his boss at the same time. Before he agrees to start the production of our class jacket, we will be required topay 30% of the total cost of the class jacket as deposit first, which is $15 from everyone. To minimise the inconveniences of collecting cash twice, I suggest that everyone to make a one time payment of $50. Please bring the $50 in the coming Monday. Once again, I urge all 3 Empathians to buy the class jacket because if we have more than 40 buyers, the jackets will cost $5 less.

Jason was superb. Like a pro Antimage. Blink and Break ,Blink and Break. But he couldn't control his roughness and fouled, but it wasn't like 3FG were a bunch of pussies either. Stupid Jun Yin block me by walking here and there. Jessica L. can't shoot for shit, but neither can I. Center is such a suck role to play. Run like a moron, support like fuck, do nothing well. Wei Lun is a moron. What happened to 3FG's 99% accuracy? We got lucky, but how far can we ride on this?

lolz.. very long neva come dis blog le.. yep. n first thing i did was 2 check the tag board which i thought wld be quite dead.. hmm.. frm the tags on the tagboard i infer tt quite a few pple still possess the intention 2 act as a class.. Needless 2 say, I was quite surprised..

Haiz.. since pple want me 2 nt "give up" on our class, I shall try again once more... anw already used 2 the disappointment le..

Kk.. 2day the class discussed wif the class form teacher abt the class committee's intention of the class jacket.. as mentioned b4 tt, we will try 2 minimize the budget and maximize the amount of kick in the class jacket by finding the optimum supplier.. agreed?

Next.. Congratz to 3EP of winning 3RP in the equally matched netball interclass. The player that stood out the most in this match intercepting countless passes and with unmatched agility was Jason frm our class =D Also, not forgetting the great teamwork from team members: YaoWen, Jessica Low, WoanNi, WenZhen, Sarah and LeHui. Overall, it was a power-packed match filled with triumphs and disappointments.

In the first half of the match, our class team scored the first 2 goals, but the opposing team caught up with our score at the end of the first half of the match. With the score at 2:2, our team broke the tie by unleashing their potential. The 2nd half of the match showed a sweat drenched Jason blinking in and out of the court to intercepting passes of the opposing team and a determined Sarah wearing a ninja suit and slashing(a bit exxagerated but nevermind) a girl of larger build with a dual-bladed katana for the ball

alright... I trust tt by now u have already sensed the disatisfaction I have along wif a few pple in our class. It bothers me when I go blog linking 2 other class blogs 2 find tt other classes have already been very ahead of our class in terms of bonding.
As a member of the class committee, I often find myself wondering.. whether it is my own fault that the class isnt bonded by now due to my incompetence or neglection of the class and try to come out wif new ideas in the desperate bid to get the class spirit high, soaring and most importantly, united. However, there are many difficulties in organizing class outings. For example; a common date and time whereby every1 is able to turn up for the event; an outing that caters to everybody's interest, and lastly, and most importantly, getting everyone's attention...
Today, 8th August 2007, after the latest failed attempt in organizing a 3EP class outing, I have decided to cease being a member of the class committee.. unless.... nvm... good luck and good game to the 3-not-so-united-empathians....

SOME PEOPLE ADD THEIR BODYWEIGHT TO THEIR ARM STRENGTH!!! thats why I would lyk 2 emphasize on the correct method of arm wrestling which is that bodyweight should not be "added" to their arm strength to win... unless stated otherwise.. =D tts all.. lolz... btw I noticed sum fans clicking their cameras at jason 2day.. lolz.. wahahahahahah ☺

2day class outing only three pple turn up.. bt den it was fun. I will elaborate dun worry.. lolz

Aniwaez, since all three of us (Charmaine, §iew Yee n me) live in east side, we decided to meet in Aljunied MRT at 10.30am..

BUT! complications arose... I arived in aljunied MRT at 9.00am.. den I thought it was early n went to 7/11 to buy sth.. Charmaine told me she wld be late n so I decided 2 go bedok n wait for both of them since i was bored waitin for them... Den I called siew yee.. she was at bedok then.. so I decided 2 wait for them at paya leybar instead... turned up I underestimated the speed of the train.. §iew Yee was on the train I decided 2 let pass... I didnt see her bt she saw me n got down the train... den turned out charmaine was already at aljunied!!! hahaha. So, we went 2 aljnied... we saw charmaine waiting very bored at the station... We stared at her through the window... SHE DIDNT BOARD!!!l lolz!!! So we went to kallang MRT 2 wait for her... was really funny.. hahaz

we chatted on the train all the way to Jurong.. reached there at abt 11.20.. The first thing we did was 2 find an eatery 2 eat lunch.. We went 2 long john silver...

After eating, we found out we got a lot of time 2 kill since we were goin in at 1.20.. so we went 2 science centre 2 look at the exhibits there... Theres also a cool shop there tt sells all kinds of interesting stuff.. we spent 1 hour inside the 12 metre by 8 metre shop but came out with empty hands... hahaz.. inside the stuff overprice.. Çharmaine actually wanted 2 buy a desert rose which cost $2.. bt den we advised her against it cos it looked fragile..

At 1.34pm, we bought the tickets 2 ice skating n put our bags on the bench while we changed in2 the rented ice skates..

§iew Yee didnt noe how 2 ice skate n held on to the railings for support while charmaine n I took turns coaching her on how 2 skate.. §iew Yee was the first 2 fall down, den Çharmaine, den §iew yee den me.. den I made §iew Yee fall again cos I lost my balance swerving anuder speeding guy while holdin her hand.. lolz!

After §kating, abt 3.40pm, we went 2 a booth to take neoprint.. We went in2 the shop bt all the boothes taken.. we finally found one n went in.. Posed mostly with rabbit ears n changed position.. when the photo takin session over, we went 2 find the screen 2 decorate out pics... charmaine n §iew Yee couldnt find it after a long time.. so I took matters in my own hands n found it after a few moments.. bt den it was too late.. cos we only got 20 secs to sellect our pics.. in the end no time n the machine auto select for us... lolz... ☺

Reasons:

1) Nowadays since weather is rainy, outdoor outings are completely out of the topic
2) Indoor activities that have been suggested to me are currently going cinemas, bowling and ice skating...
3) Cinemas option is crossed out cos theres absolutely no interaction by sitting on a seat wif ur eyes on the screen.
4) Bowling option is cancelled too cos weekends bowling alleys are packed... so we cant get enuff lanes for everyone.
5) Whereas unlike the above two choices, ice skating offers an interactive environment.

Our class outing is postponed to this §at.. meet at Jurong MRT at 11am.. We're goin ice skating... Yeah.. to those who dno how 2 ice skate: its very similar to roller blading... its very fun to learn too! hahaz
btw, the fun is guranteed although it may be more ex.. abt $11 to $ 15 frm the least to the most.. so rmb 2 bring more cash so tt u wont have 2 borrow frm loan sharks! lolz =D

2day had E hist lecture first lesson.. I hate lectures... no fun.. very boring.. the speaker not interesting... bt I endure his speech den go toilet throw up.. lolz
anw next lesson Chi.. Teacher bought 2 songs.. first one was feng zhen, second is long juan feng or sth...
Maths lesson not so bad.. at least can exercise my brain =/ lolz
Geog lesson quite fun.. bt want 2 SMS very difficult.. cos chua chor loon patrol the front too tight liaoz... sad.. so i put away my hp n waited until his lesson over...
SS lecture was a miracle to me.. the lecturer more boring than hist lesson one.. I came late den sit wif sumone sitting on a chair.. den i tried 2 fall asleep.. bt didnt work.. so I endured his lecture n I couldnt wait 2 get out of the lecture theatre when the lesson was over.. hahaz..
Ðuring Interaction period I didnt like the new sitting arrangement.. nor did I lyk the intention tt Hsin lao shi is goin 2 change our seats every month.. I just wanna normal sitting arrangement throughout the yr.. I think maybe sum1 could volunteer 2 make a petition 2 change our seats lolz.. I'll do just that if I feel lyk maybe next time? hahaz..

FINALLY abt class outing.. The topic everyone was waiting for... Well, Since the weather doesnt seem 2 be improving, we go indoors watch movie better... say.. Cineleisure or VivoÇity? This week thursday after schl... ... I§ EVERYONE FREE??? hope so.. hahaz.. Those can go tell me.. anw heard other classes already organizing class outing liaoz.. cannt lose 2 them.. kk? btw this yr lets win the chung cheng jing shen award.. WE CAN DO IT!!!

I got Fengmao and Yaowen's and hp phone numbers mixed up so I smsed the wrong person for the blog user n pw.... hahahahaa.. just called yao wen 2 find out tt I made a mistake lolz... sry for the false alarm =X =X =X.. cant blame me cos the person who wrote the list got fengmao n yaowen's number mixed up! the person is h** w*** n* Guess!
Btw, WeiJie achieved fantastic results by scoring 100% in quiz four.. which is lyk extremely difficult.. in under 2 mins! OMG!!!!!
